Questions
Bathroom remodeling: common questions
There's a soft spot by my toilet. Is that water damage?
Often, yes. A soft floor near a toilet, tub or shower usually means water has been getting into the subfloor for a while. Get it inspected before it spreads: a small repair now usually costs far less than a floor and the ceiling below it later.
Can you match my existing tile?
Sometimes, if the tile is still available. When it isn't, we'll talk through the options at the estimate, from replacing a whole section to redoing the room, so you're not left with a patch that doesn't match.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
It depends on the size of the room, what's under the floor and the materials you choose. You'll get a realistic timeline with your written estimate.
