Flood cleanup
Flood cleanup.
Flood water from outside or a sewage backup isn't clean water, and it's handled differently from a burst supply line. Cleanup means getting the water out, removing what can't be saved, cleaning and treating what stays, and drying it all properly.
What we do
- Extract flood water and mud from floors and lower levels.
- Remove soaked drywall, insulation, carpet and pad that can't be saved.
- Clean and treat affected surfaces.
- Dry the structure with commercial equipment.
- Document everything for your insurance company.

Questions
Flood cleanup: common questions
Is flood water dangerous?
It can be. Outside flood water and sewage backups can carry bacteria and contaminants, so skip bare-hand cleanup and keep kids and pets away. If water reached outlets or the electrical panel, don't touch anything electrical until the power is off.
Who pays for flood damage?
That depends on your policy and on where the water came from, and only your insurance company can answer it. We don't give coverage advice. We document the source and the damage carefully, so whoever is paying has what they need.
What can be saved after a flood?
Hard surfaces and many structural materials can be cleaned and dried. Porous items soaked in contaminated water, like carpet pad, insulation and upholstered furniture, often can't. We go room by room with you, photograph what has to go, and pack out what can be saved.
